Rachel Olschan-Wilson is co-founder and partner at Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment and has been with the company since its inception in 2001. She currently serves as Executive Producer of “Leverage: Redemption,” which has a third season currently in post-production for Amazon Prime Video, “Almost Paradise,” which premiered its second season in July 2023 on Amazon Freevee, and Electric’s newest series “The Ark,” which premiered on SYFY in February 2023. Season 2 of “The Ark” premiered in July 2024. She also Executive Produced The CW’s “The Outpost,” which premiered its fourth season on July 15th, 2021. Olschan-Wilson served as Co-Producer on the Dean Devlin-helmed science fiction action film, Geostorm, starring Gerard Butler, which was released by Warner Bros. in October 2017; as Producer on the thriller Bad Samaritan starring David Tennant and Robert Sheehan, which was released nationwide in May 2018. She was also Co-Executive Producer of the TNT one-hour drama series “The Librarians” starring Noah Wyle and Rebecca Romijn. The series opened as Cable’s Most Watched Debut of 2014 and ran for four seasons. A new spin-off series, entitled “The Librarians: The Next Chapter,” is currently in post-production for TNT.
Olschan-Wilson was the Co-Executive producer on the fifth season of TNT’s one-hour drama series “Leverage,” and was Co-Producer on the show’s previous four seasons. Prior to that she served as Co-Producer on TNT’s third installment of “The Librarian” TV movie franchise titled “The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice” starring Noah Wyle and on the second installment of the franchise, “The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mine.” Olschan-Wilson Co-Executive produced the micro-series “Blank Slate,” which premiered on TNT in fall 2008. She also Co-Produced Electric’s first documentary, Who Killed The Electric Car?, which premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival and was purchased by Sony Pictures Classics. It was released in June of 2006 to much critical acclaim.
Olschan-Wilson was Associate Producer on the feature film Flyboys. She also served as Associate Producer on the Emmy award-winning SYFY mini-series “The Triangle” and was the Associate Producer on TNT’s original movie, “The Librarian: Quest for the Spear,” which was cable television’s highest rated movie of 2004.
Before Electric Entertainment, Olschan-Wilson began her long partnership with Dean Devlin while he and Roland Emmerich were at Sony Pictures Entertainment with their Centropolis shingle.
